The Vision of Value: Campaign for Angus served as a starting point to advance the future of the Angus breed. Through this $11 million campaign, Angus breeders and allied industry partners have given of themselves financially to advance the breed’s education, youth and research efforts. For their generosity, we have labeled them “Champions of the Vision.” They are the reason the Angus Foundation has been able to give more to youth scholarships and programs, educational conferences and events, and research endeavors that are helping breeders continue the elite tradition of producing quality Angus cattle.

The dollars invested in the Angus Foundation by our "Champions of the Vision" are truly creating "Champions of the Breed." These are the people who have benefited from the financial support of our donors and are continuing to advocate and move our industry forward.

The Vision of Value: Campaign for Angus has allowed us to produce many more "Champions" than we could have ever imagined: those youth scholars, educational conference attendees and researchers who are finding applicable tools for our breeders. But, our efforts are not over. How many more "Champions" can we create?

Your contribution to the Fiscal Year 2012 Annual Fund will help the Angus Foundation achieve even greater levels of excellence. Unrestricted gifts received through the Annual Fund help to:

• Increase support of NJAA activities, such as LEAD and “Raising the Bar” conferences
• Develop instructional modules to educate Angus breeders of all ages on “cutting-edge” technologies
• Support NJAS activities and help host state offset expenses incurred in conducting the show
• Increase number of scholarships to youth
• Fund research benefiting Angus breeders and the beef industry
• Sponsor educational seminars like “Cattlemen’s Boot Camp” for Angus breeders and commercial cattlemen alike
• Increase leadership development experiences for adult Angus breeders, such as YCC, Angus Leaders Bootcamp and Beef Leaders Institute
