 Briarwood Angus Farms, Butler, Mo., Purchases the 2012 Angus Foundation Heifer Package for $65,000
Proceeds from the sale of SydGen Buena 9511 and her heifer calf, SydGen Foundation Buena, at the National Western Stock Show benefit the Angus Foundation’s education, youth and research endeavors. Dr. Curtis and Ann Long of Briarwood Angus Farms, Butler, Mo., bid $65,000 on Jan. 11 to purchase the 2012 Angus Foundation Heifer, donated by Eddie and Connie Sydenstricker, owners of Sydenstricker Genetics of Mexico, Mo. More than $1.5 million has been raised from this Angus Foundation fundraising activity since its inception in 1980.
